About RDS Dock Hardware

Dock hardware from people who pour the metal.

RDS Dock Hardware has been making dock hardware since 1986, starting on the lakes of New England. Today RDS is part of CaneKast, a family of American non-ferrous foundries, which means the bracket on your dock comes from a foundry we own, not a catalog we resell.

Where it's made. Every RDS casting is poured in marine-grade 535 aluminum at Patriot Foundry & Castings in Franklin, New Hampshire. Patriot is certified to ISO 9001:2015, so every part follows the same documented process for material, dimensions and inspection.

Why it lasts. We design our castings for ice, wave action and years of seasonal installs and removals. They're cast heavier than they strictly need to be, with stainless steel fasteners and Schedule 80 aluminum pipe where it counts.

How we work. Orders ship from our facility in Clinton, South Carolina. Most parts are cast to order; our most popular brackets, bases and swivels are kept on the shelf. If you're building something unusual, our team will help you work out the parts list.
