The 4×4 Wood Base is used with dock systems that rely on 4x4 wooden legs for support. They are usually installed flush with the bottom of the 4×4 wooden leg. However, for extra stability, the end of the 4×4 leg can be cut at an angle and attached to the wood base approximately 6-12 inches above the 4×4 end.
To install, drive the 4×4 leg into the lake bottom until the base comes in contact with the lake bottom.
The 4x4 wood base should be paired with 4x4 wood side brackets that secure the wooden legs to the dock.Specifications
